Here are the details for scanning direct into matters within Actionstep.
FRom your photocopier/scanner send the scan email to email@example.com
Ensuring the subject line of the email contains the following
- Actionstep will strip the email and save the attachment to the folder defined in XXX
- AAA = the Action ID (Matter ID)
- XXX = the Document folder you want the documents to be saved to (Folder must exist on the matteR)
You can also leave the folder name blank which will tell actionstep to save the attachment to the Documents Top-level folder in the matter rather than a specific folder. The subject line would look like the following if this is what you want to do.
